A decorative cover used to cover the entry hole in to a non combustible wall or register plate, comes in two parts. Used vertical or horizontal at 90 deg.
Standard Vitreous Enamel steel pipe only has a male end and no female end. The male end must be installed facing downwards. Due to only having one tapered end this pipe can be easily cut and still used within a system, with the male end from the second piece going inside the cut end of the first piece. Each joint must be coated with a jointing compound (fire cement or high temperature silicone sealant). This makes sure that no condensate can escape and spoil the appearance of the pipe.
